About New Jersey.
The Shore, the Boards, and the Atlantic
New Jersey's Atlantic coastline stretches for over 200 kilometres, delivering everything from the legendary boardwalks of Asbury Park and Ocean City to the refined Victorian grandeur of Cape May, the southernmost tip of the state. Atlantic City brings its own electric energy, casinos, live entertainment, and a famous boardwalk that has drawn visitors for well over a century. Come summer, the Shore is simply where New Jersey comes alive.

Cities That Pack a Punch
Newark is a city reborn, its arts district thrums with galleries, the Newark Museum of Art anchors a genuine cultural scene, and the Ironbound neighbourhood serves some of the finest Portuguese food on the East Coast. Across the Hudson, Jersey City's Gold Coast offers staggering views of the Manhattan skyline from waterfront parks that feel worlds away from the crowds. Princeton, meanwhile, lends the state a leafy, collegiate elegance built around one of the world's great universities.
The Pinelands and the Garden State's Harvest
New Jersey earns its Garden State nickname in the broad stretch of farmland and forest that opens up once you leave the urban corridor. The Pinelands National Reserve, a vast, federally protected expanse of pine forest, cedar streams, and cranberry bogs, feels genuinely wild and is one of the largest open spaces in the northeastern United States. Farm stands overflow with Jersey tomatoes, blueberries, and peaches, and a growing agritourism scene invites visitors to experience the land directly.
Where History Meets the Highway
New Jersey played an outsized role in the American Revolution, and battlefields at Princeton, Monmouth, and Morristown still carry the weight of that history. The Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange preserves the laboratory where the modern world was arguably invented, and Asbury Park's Stone Pony launched one of rock's most enduring careers. With two of America's greatest cities bookending the state, New Jersey has always thrived in the space between, turning proximity into an identity all its own.
